Persian Bazaar - Rug's World Headquarter

The Persian rug is a tradition that has survived for a period of over 2500 years. Each Persian rug is a new flower blossoming from one of the biggest branches of an ancient and colorful yet damaged tree which is the Persian culture . Persian people are very tradition oriented and this characteristic can be seen in the way they make their rugs . Each village or city in Iran has an ancient and traditional rug pattern that has been maintained in that region for centuries and sometimes millenniums. The distinct designs of each city are particular to that city alone and although famous designs have been imitated elsewhere in the country a few times , they have never been duplicated. Iran is also the place where many other styles of rugs are made, such as Turkish, Caucasian, Armenian, Kazak, Afghanistan & India. The Persian rug is a big chapter in the book of Iran's culture because it visually shows the biggest obsessions in Persian culture, which are the beauty of nature, literature, and true love. These are what make the Persian rug on of the most prestigious things to be placed in any home.
